Hello world it’s been a minute since I’ve last posted about an artist, but it is now time to break the dry spell.

I’ve decided to do things a bit differently this time around and have enlisted the guest review efforts from my homie Gayle. 

Since her mom originates from the East coast (Brick-City New Jersey) I thought it would only be right for her to share her thoughts on the emerging talent entity that is known as F02 Music Group. 

Now I’ve done my share features on their leading lady Candis aka SheIsHipHop but this time the brought out the whole squad with nothing but bangers. 

Before I post the review I would like to first post my favorite joints from the F02 Music Group compilation

Fire is on my favorite joints on the whole mixtape. 1^st Wonder is lyrically gifted, spitting bars like

“When it comes to hits call me Mark Mcguire/Miracles, MacGyver/ Lyrical Messiah”

And Rum has such a raw, gutta voice that listeners have no choice but to take heed to whatever he’s spitting.

I Rise, although only 1:24 in length, is a banger and leaves you wanting more than just a verse. Rum wastes no time going in about life’s truths and touching on a range of different issues, including grimy chicks, enemies and how to handle success. 

Animal within/Cannibal for wins/Taking deep breaths trying to find a manageable win/When you on top it’s hard to try to manage all your friends

He makes sure he is thorough in his attempt to make niggas wise

Be careful who you smoke with everything ain’t weed/Niggas will show you smiles before they show you greed

RSVP Dope track from verse to hook!

I’m the dude thy call Wonder/Don’t believe in fear, who?/Where to? Straight up to the top I got a clear view/Used to be in front of me, now you in my rear view/Used to be all in my ear, now I don’t even hear you

Good Life, Made you look (freestyle) and Run for the Money are so East Coast. Not only did Rum, Rube and 1^st Wonder continue to shine light on their lyrical talents but, Candis showed the lyrical, conscious and original style that first drew me to support the SheIsHipHop grind. As a female, I love when a female MC can hold her own lyrically, with the dudes, without having to take it off.  I just want her stay more true to her style on her tracks and features. That sex sells gimmick isn’t her and doesn’t do her rhymes the justice they deserve.

With all of that being said, I am definitely looking forward to future projects from the F02 crew.”

Great review from Gayle….It was her first ever so I want you to leave your feedback and always remember Only My Opinion Matters.
